Care Paws was established to give companion animals all the loving care that you would give to them if you were home. We understand that business trips or vacations can create stress and hardship on the family pets who must stay behind. They can become very anxious while you're away and sometimes this separation anxiety can be destructive or lead to behavorial problems. We understand the need to keep your four legged family members on their daily schedules and maintain their routines as close as possible. Care Paws will concentrate on giving your pets extra tummy rubs, ear rubs, walks or whatever it takes to minimize their loneliness. If their normal habit is to sleep with you, then they'll sleep in bed with a Care Paws person instead. This is one of the many reasons why we stay in your home. We are unlike other pet sitting services which only "visit" during the day to check on your pets and then leave them alone for long hours. Our goal is to keep your pets feeling secure and happy while you're away from them. While Care Paws is living in your home, we will do all the daily things that keep your home safe. This includes bringing the mail and newspapers into the house, taking the garbage out on the appointed day, turning lights on/off and generally giving the house that lived-in appearance. All this TLC means you return home to find your pets relaxed and secure. They have not spent time in a noisy, smelly kennel with unfamiliar smells and sounds nor have they been exposed to possible health threats. They've been loved and spent long hours playing their favorite games.
